Food Update

Filed under: czech republic, prague, food, photography, beer — admin @ 15:02

I’m happy to report no further bad food episodes today.

The Becherovka? Quite digestible and quite good, actually. It does have a kind of herbal taste but not medicinal like Jagermeister. It certainly has a cinnamon quality which probably makes the beverage more female-friendly. All in all, I will be having more!

The mystery can seen in the photo from the last post…. As I had hoped, it was essentially pork and beans. Cut up hot dogs and beans = good.

Our class is doing a bit of a pub crawl tonight around Old Town with former students so this should make for an interesting evening. We are meeting first at a recent graduates flat for a bit of pre-drinking so I’ll bring the Becherovka. Hooray! I’ll also be bringing along my camera to CAPTURE MEMORIES, DAMMIT!

Stay tuned!

  1. btw… the best restaurant in zizkov is a place called lavicka… i think that’s what it’s called… it’s between the husinecka and lipanska stops on the number 9 tram. they have tiki torches out front hard to miss… you will have a mighty fine dining experience…
